FULL OR PART TIME VETERINARY NURSE

The Neighbourhood Vet is growing rapidly and it is an exciting time to join us! 

We are seeking a nurse who is confident, pro-active and compassionate, very good with clients and feel they can be a dynamic part of our team. The Neighbourhood Vet is a progressive 8 vet practice with certificate holders in medicine, cardiology and surgery and and we pride ourselves in offering the best. A varied caseload can be expected to help enhance your skill set and you would work alongside a supportive and friendly team. We are looking for a nurse to be part of our busy and growing hospital, with occasional cover at our branches in Crofton Park and Penge. Ideally, we would prefer a qualified and experienced RVN but may consider candidates with less experience. Additionally, we would consider full or part time hours for the right candidate. Our main hospital is situated in the heart of East Dulwich on popular Lordship Lane and our two recently opened clinics are located in Crofton Park and Penge where we are becoming a strong part of the local community.

WORKING HOURS

Monday – Friday (option for a 4 or 5 day week – a balance of morning and afternoon shifts)

1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am – 3:00pm & 9:00am-7:00pm on an alternate basis)

1 in 6 Sundays (9:00am-7:00pm) 

SALARY & BENEFITS

Competitive: £22,000-£30,000 pro-rata’d (dependant on experience)

FULL OR PART TIME ANIMAL NURSING ASSISTANT

We are seeking an experienced, confident and pro-active Animal Nursing Assistant to join The Neighbourhood Vet nursing team.

The Neighbourhood Vet is a progressive 8 vet practice with certificate holders in medicine, cardiology and surgery and and we pride ourselves in offering the best. We are looking for a nurse to be part of our busy and growing hospital, with occasional cover at our branches in Crofton Park and Penge. We would consider full or part time hours for the right candidate. The successful candidate will have plenty of hands on experience with patients. You will be responsible for helping to maintain the cleanliness of the clinic to a high standard by following practice protocols. The role will also see you feeding animals, animal handling, assisting and supporting the nurses and vets with patient care and preparing medical equipment, as well as being face to face with clients.

SALARY

£12,000-£19,000 (pro-rata’d if part-time) – Dependant on experience

WEEKEND VETERINARY SURGEON 

The Neighbourhood Vet is looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team on weekends. We would like to hear from individuals who want to develop a niche role within our veterinary team. We want vets who are passionate and compassionate, very good with clients and feel they can be a dynamic part of our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a vet looking for an interesting caseload, within a supportive environment and access to all the latest toys!

We started The Neighbourhood Vet only 7 years ago and already are an 8 vet practice. We have experienced vets, including certificate holders in medicine, cardiology and surgery, and we pride ourselves on offering the best for our clients and patients. The practice is open 7 days a week but we do not do our own after hours and aim for all staff to have a good work, life balance. We are in lovely East Dulwich which is one of the nicest bits of London (although we are a bit biased!), and recently opened two brand new clinics in Crofton Park and Penge!

Working Hours

– Saturdays (8:30am-3:00pm & 9:00am-7:00pm alternate) on a 1 in 3 basis
– Sundays (9:00am-7:00pm) on a 1 in 3 basis
